Replace worn, damaged or stiff window hinges with these Side Hung uPVC Window Friction Hinges, designed for use on side-opening uPVC windows.
Ideal for repairs and replacement installations, these friction stays provide smooth, controlled window opening and closing while helping to support the sash securely throughout its movement.
Suitable for a wide range of residential uPVC windows, they are a practical choice when existing hinges have become bent, corroded, loose or difficult to operate.
Please make sure you open these hinges in the direction of the arrows shown on the hinges.
Opening the hinges in the correct direction helps ensure they operate as intended and prevents unnecessary strain or damage during fitting.
Before ordering, we recommend checking the length, stack height, track width and arm width of your existing friction hinges to ensure the correct replacement is selected.
Side hung hinges are designed specifically for windows that are hinged at the side and open outwards.
Please compare your existing hinges carefully before ordering, as different uPVC window systems can use different sizes and specifications.

Delivery Information
We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible.
● Same Working Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same working day.
● Orders After 2:30 pm: Orders placed after the cut-off time, at weekends, or on Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.
● Delivery Services: We use Royal Mail and DPD courier service, depending on the size and weight of your order.
● Standard Delivery: Most UK orders arrive within 1–3 working days after dispatch, although delivery times may vary during busy periods.
● Next Working Day Delivery: Our Next Working Day Delivery service is available for Monday to Friday deliveries only. Orders placed before 2:30 pm on a working day will be dispatched the same day for delivery on the next working day. Orders placed after the cut-off time, on Fridays after 2:30 pm, at weekends, or on Bank Holidays will be delivered on the next working day. Weekend and Bank Holiday deliveries are not included.
● Carriage Paid Orders: All orders over £100 qualify for free delivery (carriage paid).
● Delivery Restrictions: We are unable to send items over 1 metre in length to Northern Ireland or the Highlands & Islands.
● Order Tracking: Tracking details will be provided where available.
● Click & Collect: Collection from our Denton store is available. Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready before collecting.
