Upgrade or replace your existing window hinges with these Egress Easy Clean uPVC Window Friction Hinges, designed to provide a wider emergency escape opening while also allowing easier access to the outside of the window for cleaning.
Ideal for uPVC windows, replacement installations and fire escape applications, these friction hinges combine smooth everyday operation with practical egress and easy-clean functionality.
This hinge provides a full 85 degree opening, allowing the window to open wide enough to help provide an exit route in the event of an emergency.
The egress design makes these hinges particularly suitable for bedroom windows, upper-floor windows and other locations where a wider emergency escape opening may be required.
The Easy Clean feature allows improved access to the outside of the window, making it easier to clean the external glass from inside the property.

Please make sure you open these hinges in the direction of the arrows shown on the hinges.
Opening the hinges in the correct direction helps ensure they operate as intended and prevents unnecessary strain or damage during fitting.
When replacing existing friction hinges, we recommend checking the hinge length, stack height, track width, arm width and existing window configuration before ordering to ensure compatibility.

Delivery Information
We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible.
● Same Working Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, are normally dispatched the same working day.
● Orders After 2:30 pm: Orders placed after the cut-off time, at weekends, or on Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.
● Delivery Services: We use Royal Mail and DPD courier service, depending on the size and weight of your order.
● Standard Delivery: Most UK orders arrive within 1–3 working days after dispatch, although delivery times may vary during busy periods.
● Next Working Day Delivery: Our Next Working Day Delivery service is available for Monday to Friday deliveries only. Orders placed before 2:30 pm on a working day will be dispatched the same day for delivery on the next working day. Orders placed after the cut-off time, on Fridays after 2:30 pm, at weekends, or on Bank Holidays will be delivered on the next working day. Weekend and Bank Holiday deliveries are not included.
● Carriage Paid Orders: All orders over £100 qualify for free delivery (carriage paid).
● Delivery Restrictions: We are unable to send items over 1 metre in length to Northern Ireland or the Highlands & Islands.
● Order Tracking: Tracking details will be provided where available.
● Click & Collect: Collection from our Denton store is available. Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready before collecting.
